On a personal note, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Johan Schoeman and I am the proprietor of Veridical Solutions. I thrive on the challenges you, the client, present and will endeavour to solve your problems effectively and timeously in any way I can.

Having been in the trade portal and international e-trade technologies for the past ten years and in IT since 1985, I can offer a range of solutions and services pertaining to the subject of e-trade and e-commerce, and have a host of connections as well as access to some of the latest technologies available. I have been been a founding member of one of South Africa’s most prominent portals, Tradeworld (www.tradeworld.net) and have contributed to the analysis, design, project management and development of a number of others, such as the Cape Trade e-Business Solution specification, the Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA)’s Trade Promotional Site, soon to be launched nationally; as well as a number of smaller e-trade web sites that was custom developed hand-in-hand with a Global Trade Management System (see www.visage.co.za and www.rsi.co.za). I was also directly involved with the analysis, architecture and specification for the National Electronic Trade Documentation and Management System (NETDMS) initiative by Trade and Investment South Africa (TISA), a division of the Department of Trade and Investment (DTI). Some of my more recent portals include the SA Hobby Showcase (www.sashowcase.com/hobby), the SA Craft Showcase (www.sashowcase.com/craft), SA Miniatures (www.saminiatures.com), which sell over 34,000 military miniatures, and a local retail business to business portal (www.fmcg.co.za).
